My Story
My Story
Ellie was born and bred in the southernmost part of New Zealand where she graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, with Distinction, from the University of Otago in 2016. Growing up in rural New Zealand, Ellie has always had a keen passion for movement, wellness and sport. Being a keen netball and rugby player herself it came as no surprise that she continued this interest in her work where she became involved with provincial and age group level rugby union, netball and sport academy athletes. Ellie has a special interest in injury prevention and treating patients as a whole. Having trained and played sport competitively herself she has a broad knowledge of exercise and rehabilitation which enables her clients to get back to moving their body pain free whatever their passion may be.
In early 2023 Ellie chose to move to London due to a passion for travel. Her working life in London has involved pre and post operative musculoskeletal and temporomandibular clients through private practice in Marylebone. She has also worked in a care home providing rehabilitation and maintenance care of residents post stroke, fracture, progressive disease and the effects of ageing.
Ellie has extensive background in working with clients of all ages in helping them maintain and better their lifestyles through movement and hands on physiotherapy. From preseason assessment and exercise prescription in student athletes to maintenance of quality of life for those nearing the end of their life.
With Ellie’s diverse background, commitment to hands-on treatment and holistic approach, clients can feel confident they will get back to doing what they love quickly and efficiently.
