My Story

I’m a dedicated physiotherapist with a strong background in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Pilates, and holistic, evidence-based care. I trained in South Africa and hold a BSc in Physiotherapy with honours from the University of Cape Town. My clinical experience spans community clinics, hospital wards, and private practice, giving me a broad and well-rounded foundation in physiotherapy.

I specialise in treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions, and I enjoy combining hands-on therapy with personalised exercise rehabilitation. I’m particularly interested in restoring movement quality, improving posture and core control, and addressing the root causes of pain or dysfunction. My approach is patient-centred and thoughtful, integrating physiotherapy with Pilates, dry needling, and breathwork to support long-term recovery and resilience.

As a trained STOTT Pilates instructor at intermediate and advanced levels, I lead both group and one-to-one sessions. I find Pilates to be a powerful tool for improving strength, movement awareness, and control — mainly when used alongside clinical rehabilitation.

I’ve completed advanced postgraduate training in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy (aligned with IFOMPT standards), and have treated a wide range of patients — from post-operative and respiratory cases to sports injuries. Volunteering at events like the Comrades Marathon has also enriched my experience of treating athletes in dynamic environments.

I’m passionate about helping people move better and feel more confident in their bodies. I believe in empowering my clients with the tools and understanding they need to return to the activities they love.
